AAKG = arginine bound to alpha ketoglutarate, hence resulting in a better bioavailability
How it works?
Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is an important biological compound, used by the body to help with the creation of usable energy from carbohydrates, fats and protein. It combines with ammonia to create glutamic acid, a precursor of glutamine.
AAKG is a popular ingredient in many pre-workout cell volumisers. The Alpha-Ketoglutarate compound helps improve the delivery of L-Arginine and is one of the most important nitrogen (NO2) transporters in metabolic pathways.
Our AAKG contains the superior 2:1 ratio of Arginine and Alpha-Ketoglutarate. Arginine is conditionally an essential amino acid that has a number of vital roles in human biochemistry and has an important role in protein synthesis.
Nitric Oxide (NO2) is a very powerful vasodilator that increases the intensity and duration of the “pump” which is gained when working out (usually after heavy weights). Most AAKG users experience a visible increase in vascularity and a pumped muscle feeling.
How do I take it?
As a dietary supplement consume 3000mg (3g) with 50ml of water or non acidic juice (grapefruit juice). 1 to 2 times daily or as required. For optimal results take prior to resistance training. 1 flat 1.5ml scoop provides an estimated 1500mg (1.5g) serve.
